First Week of School

I've been being lazy after finishing my first official part-time job in August lately. Watching Korean dramas, hanging out on YouTube and surprise, surprise, I went shopping and I've got a few fall/winter clothing and just cannot wait to wear and style them. Unfortunately :( Hong Kong is still really hot right now and I am sweaty all over once I step outside my home. (even staying at my room after taking a shower and ready to sleep)

O.K. First week of school. It is still unbelievable that I am already a Year 3 student and my little brother is a freshman already! This year, in order to make my fashion dream come true, I have applied a few fashion courses at HKDI, hoping to learn more and figure out what I really want to contribute to this fabulous intensive world. Other than that, one word for this semester: reading, reading and reading. I'm not a typical reader and I still haven't finished my summer reading which is kind of sad as I need to finish them asap while I am typing my new blogpost. LOL However, I always try to prepare finish reading the materials before lessons so hope I am not distracted after finishing this post.

It's really sad to leave Elizz since my colleagues are really nice and they treat me very well. I have learnt so much there but I think it's time for me to move on and try out different things before I graduate from university. Elizz sells a lot of brand name night gowns and clothing (e.g. BCBG, etc in a much affordable price), just like Lane Crawford or Joyce, but a rather small edition. Customers always compliment for the stock that we have. Therefore, if you are available and wandering around TST and Jordon, be sure to check out Elizz! (remember to take the map with you) I promise you will discover some treasures!

Never Give Up

It's back-to-school season again. In the past few months, during the summer holiday, I've been mainly going to work, as a sales associate in a fashion boutique. This is my first job and it's time for me to move on to seek different opportunities.

My dream has always been related to fashion. When people knows that I am studying English Language and Literature. They always ask the same question, do you wanna be a teacher? And my answer as always is: NO! Not that I do not respect teachers, as they do spend their precious time to take care of the students but most importantly, they are passionate to teach, and I do feel my passion is fashion. (see, that rhymes :)

It is not easy to realize my dream but I don't wanna regret, thinking why didn't I keep on doing it.
I know that I need to be persistent with perseverance so I will be able to tell myself and share to all those dream-catchers that I am living in my dream. I am confident that I can and I will and if you never give up, you can do it too.

Therefore, this path maybe long but my heart will go on.

Boots Obsession

I am obseesed with ankle boots for quite a long time. I do own a pair of ankle boots, which is by UGG. The is so comfy and warm in the winter. I do want to own a  more street style version biker boots.
Here's what I've been looking for in the past three years and staying in my To-Buy List. Hope I could get them this year.
I do have a few requirement for my next pair of biker boots. The reasons I like biker boots is they are comfy, easy to mix and match.
My dream boots needs to have maximum 3-inch heel, not too tall not too kitten , able to walk comfortably, giving me a little bit of height. leather not suede so that I can kick them in all seasons. don;t need to worry about the rainning season. Also, I can wear them with dresses and jeans.

重投廣東歌的懷抱？

不停重播。
離開廣東歌的這段日子，耳中不斷轟炸的不就是節奏感強勁的韓國組合。的確，那些美輪美奐的外表，整齊到不可思議的舞步十分誘人。然而，久了就會看穿那種一成不變的模式。
諷刺的是，情歌就是當初讓我的離開廣東歌的原因，卻又令我重新投入她的懷抱。
當初一成不變的情歌，只聽陳奕迅，只覺得羅文，張國榮，梅艷芳才有韻味，才算得是「音樂」，但吳雨霏所揣摩的情歌去了一個新層次（至少對我來說），那種狠勁難得一見，亦看到從那個九人組合慢慢褪變的那個她。
繁體字的「美」並不是英文，日文及韓文可輕易取代的。
談談情，說說愛，用那些我聽不明白的語言總是產生距離感。
當然，韓國亦有很多不只外表又懂得玩創意、玩音樂的歌手，仍是悅耳動聽。
不然，我的四年韓國音樂經驗不就付諸流水！
